I hope that you had a lovely Easter break. We certainly had great weather for it here. It was really nice to be able to switch off for a few days and recharge the old batteries.
Being able to unwind, even for just one day, is so important. And yet so many of us never manage it. Life these days is so pressured and so hectic that pausing for even a moment seems impossible.
It seems to me that the two most-used phrases in the English language (and probably in every other language) are “I’m so busy” and “I’m so tired”. The two are clearly linked!
I hope that you have managed to take some time out for yourself, but if not, please try to schedule at least one day over the next month when you can put everything else aside and just physically, mentally and spiritually unwind.
You’ll be ten times more effective if you do.

I’m heading up to London today with Delia and the girls. They want to do some shopping and I’m looking forward to pottering around in some of my favorite bookshops. While we are up there, I’m planning to have lunch in the restaurant we use for the London Lunches - so that I can meet with the owner to arrange our next London Lunch date.
If you are on the announcement list for the lunches, I’ll be sending out a message either this evening or tomorrow morning. Watch out for it!
If you are not yet on the London Lunch list, please pop over to http://www.london-lunch.com to sign up.

Over the holiday I did a bit of analysis of back copies of Kickstart. In fact, I was looking to see which products (and how many) I have recommended over the last year or so - and how many of them I would still recommend today!
Watch out for that report - it should make interesting reading!

What I can tell you right now is that some of the best things I’ve recommended recently have been the cheapest.
The new trend for $7 reports has brought out some real quality at a rock-bottom price. Don’t be deceived by the silly price though - there is pure gold to be found.
The ones I’ve promoted up to now (and this is a very short list out of hundreds of $7 reports available) are these:
1. The original $7-Report from Jonathan Leger which started the whole trend off. This is really th e main one to get because it gives you all the scripts you need to get started with this amazing business model. http://www.urlnex.us/7dollars/
2. Next, I told you about a special report from Gordon Bryan - http://www.urlnex.us/gordonbryan/ - ‘Tireless Traffic Technique’, in which he reveals his strategies for generating endless traffic streams for your websites.
3. Then came the best $7 ebook that you can buy anywhere - the one I wrote!
‘You CAN Write Articles’ almost writes articles for you, it makes the process so easy. If you have ever wanted to write articles - one of the best ways of promoting your websites - but haven’t known how to get started, ‘You CAN Write Articles is exactly what you need. http://www.youcanwritearticles.com
4. Gary Vurnum’s ‘Millionaire Mindset’ came next. This workbook is, justifiably, one of the best-selling $7 reports of all. I believe that it is ranked third in the all-times sales out of hundreds of others. Gary is a personal development coach, among other things, and has encapsulated the steps you need to take (sometimes painfully) into a workbook that will transform your life. http://www.urlnex.us/garyvurnum/
5. With the explosion in people writing $7 reports, it was inevitable that a lot of them would have no idea how to effectively market their work. William Charlwood came to the rescue with a book that I believe everyone who has bought the original $7 scripts needs to read. ‘$7 Dollar Selling’ details and explains every possible way that you can use to promote your $7 reports to make money from them effectively and quickly. It is an excellent read: http://www.urlnex.us/7dollarselling/
6. The latest $7 book that I’ve mentioned in Kickstart is one of the most impressive in sheer detail and size! ‘List Building Mastery’ from Larry Dotson is three volumes of highly useful advice on how to build your own mailing list - a subject very close to my heart. Whether you have an online business or an offline one, building a mailing list is vital to your success. Larry demystifies and explans how you can build your list easily and effectively. http://www.urlnex.us/listbuildingmastery/
That’s it folks! Six of the very best. And when you think about it, between them they cover all the important points - a real focused masterclass.

There is a new movie that has had rave reviews. ‘Sunshine’ is a gritty Sci-Fi thriller about an attempt to re-ignite our dying sun by flying a giant atomic bomb into it.
The feel of the movie is very much like the original Alien.
Up to about three-quarters through I thoroughly enjoyed it. The crew were, not unexpectedly meeting their doom one by one and the movie was developing a nice tension.
Then the film makers ran out of ideas.
Rather than keeping it real they decided that they had to introduce a monster to kill off even more of the crew.
And in so doing, they ruined a perfectly good movie.
There was just no need. The existing characters could easily have done the dirty work and killed each other off. In fact, it could have easily turned into a Sci-Fi version of Agatha Christie’s ‘Ten Little Indians’. But alas, all that was thrown away with an unbelievable, and largely unexplained monster.
Not particularly recommended.

I heard a man talking on the radio recently - unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but his words stuck with me.
He was talking about my favorite subject: motivation.
He said that a lot of people would have a lot more of it, if only they realized that the word is always misspelled.
There is a silent ‘c’.
The correct spelling should be ‘motivaCtion’ because in order to make something move, you need a motive, and you need action.
You know, I think he is right!

An Inspirational Thought

I’ve written many times about the importance of a smile. When you radiate goodwill outwards it is always reflected back.
But let’s get real - you can’t walk around grinning all day long. You’d soon get a very different response!
Instead, save your outward smiling for your interactions with other people. But keep your inward smile firmly in place!
Inward smile? What is that?
Relax your face, and without moving a single muscle, imagine a smile on the inside of your forehead. As soon as you do, your eyes will sparkle and your entire outlook will change for the better.
And as all that goodwill builds up inside of you, it will pretty soon spill out into everything you do.
Then, when people ask you how you are always so enthusiastic and positive, you can say, ’simple - I just smile inside my head!’

Today’s Power Thought
_______________________________________________________
Want to feel good about yourself today? Here’s how.
As soon as you have finished reading Kickstart, and before you even start to do anything else, do one thing that you really don’t want to do.
We all have a whole heap of things that keep getting put off - things that we know we’ll have to do eventually, but really don’t want to get around to.
Do one of them (any one, I’m not checking up on you), right now.
And as soon as you’ve done it, reward yourself. Have a cookie or a donut. Maybe allow yourself the luxury of five minutes with the newspaper. It is your reward, so you can choose.
You know what? As soon as you’ve done that one thing, you are going to feel so much better about yourself.
And what better way can there be to start your day?
