Monday November 19th, 2007: Issue #860

Several people have emailed me to report that the PLRpro website appears to be faulty. They’ve gone through to try to sign up for the $1 special offer I talked about yesterday, but are just getting an error page that says something about needing to make a selection (when there is nothing to select).

I’ve spoken to PLRpro’s owners about it this morning and it seems that the special deal was limited to just 180 people and it sold out much faster than anticipated.

I’m not surprised - it was, after all, a brilliant offer.

It does show that when special deals come up, you really have to move fast before they get snapped up.

Daniel also told me this morning that their sister site, PLRpro Ebooks - which closed its doors to new members weeks ago - has just opened up again with under 20 places to be sold.

There is no special price on this one, but I know that a lot of Kickstart readers were disappointed about not being able to get in, so I’m telling you now that you’ve got another chance. But the site will certainly be full again by the end of the day.

If you’d like to read what I said about PLRpro ebooks, check out the archive. It was in issue #851.

Speaking of moving fast, my Kickstart Your Niche Search lists are flying out of the door. I’m going to advertise them on the Warrior Forum later today, so I anticipate that even more of the strictly limited 150 sets will go as soon as the notice appears there.

If you haven’t bagged your set yet, you can read all about it in Friday’s Kickstart (on the archive at http://kickstartarchive.com ).

I read some interesting news the other day about how Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation has announced that they’ve employed 100 people to data mine MySpace. NewsCorp bought MySpace a while ago and see it as a huge source of useful personal information that they can exploit.

I wonder how many people who unthinkingly put up all kinds of personal stuff on their MySpace pages realize just how much of their lives they are opening up to giant corporations.

Potentially, it sounds very scary to me.

If you are either a medical expert or a diabetes sufferer, I could do with your help.

I have Type 2 diabetes and frankly, have been very bad at controlling it with diet. I know I eat the wrong things, but my problem is that I get so much conflicting information about what the right things are that I tend to switch off.

For example, I see a diabetic nurse at my doctor’s surgery and she told me a list of foods I should avoid. Her list included all breads and potatoes. When I mentioned that to my doctor, he said that wholewheat bread is fine and that potatoes are actually good for diabetics!

One of them is talking rubbish, but from reading books and websites I can see where the confusion comes in. They all say different things!

It is high time I took my diabetes seriously and so rather than focus on the things I shouldn’t eat, I want to compile a list of things that I should.

But where to start? That’s why, I hope, you’ll step in to help.

Can you offer any proven suggestions, or perhaps point me to any books or resources that are not contradictory and which offer good, medically accepted advice?

        An Inspirational Thought

Paul Wilson wrote, ‘Expect nothing, but know that great things lie ahead of you.’

What a wonderful concept. But it hinges on one word: know.

Some of us take a lot of convincing that success and greatness is our destiny. Something inside of us creates doubt.

But that kind of thinking is just plain wrong.

I have now come to understand that human beings are programmed to exceed our own expectations. Whatever we decide to do, we will do superbly well - whether it is a positive expectation or a negative one.

So please, from today, keep a positive expectation in your heart and know (deep inside of you) that great things lie ahead of you.

Most of our lives are spent in anticipation of the next thing to happen.

We get up and scurry around in anticipation of getting to work.

Once at work, we spend our day in anticipation of our lunch break, or going home time.

On the journey home we are wrapped in anticipation of dinner and the TV we plan to watch.

While we are watching TV we anticipate going to bed.

Then we start over again.

What’s that all about? When do we ever get to savor the moment?

It seems to me that much of what we anticipate is not worth spending time over. Even counter-productive.

Why waste time and energy anticipating going home time. It is going to come round anyway, regular as clockwork. Let it happen.

Instead, we could use that mental energy to enjoy the moment.

It is a different mindset, for sure, but one that is well worth cultivating.

Now is far more fun than then, and if then must me considered, make it really worth while.

I don’t want to spend my energy anticipating little things - like a coffee break, or a train journey. I want to be free to anticipate the best that the world has to offer - like success, achievement and reward.

Let’s all think big, and anticipate bigger!
