Hi,
Well here we are then – 1000 issues of Kickstart! I really don’t
know where all those years have gone to, or where all the close
to 2 million words have come from.
All I do know is that it ain’t over yet folks!
Today is a kind of celebration I suppose, so I’ve prepared some
really good gifts and rather special offers for you.
I’ve even bought a new domain to celebrate: http://1-in-1000.com
If you are pushed for time, head on over there right now and see
what I’ve got lined up for you – otherwise stay here for a few
minutes and I’ll explain everything.
Meanwhile, please forgive me for foregoing the usual format for
this issue only…

During the 1000 issues of Kickstart there have been many times
when I was tempted to give up. Times when my online income just
didn’t seem to want to happen; times when I received hurtful and
spiteful emails; times when I wondered if it was worth it.
There were even times when I lost the will and the inspiration to
write.
But those times passed. The rollercoaster that is life saw to it
that for every bad day there were dozens of wonderful days to
more than redress the balance.
Great days when I made more money in a few hours than I’d ever
made in a month in my previous high-flyer career. Wonderful days
when readers sent me emails of thanks. Superb days when the words
just seemed to flow from someone else’s mind. Fantastic days when
I knew at the very heart of my being that online marketing and
email communicating was the only thing I really ever want to do.
And of course the very best days when my family started reading
the stuff I write and saying ‘Hey, I enjoyed reading Kickstart
this morning”!
Online marketing in general, and newsletter publishing in
particular are not the easiest ways to make a living, but they
are certainly ones that I’d highly recommend to anyone. It takes
a while to find your feet – the only overnight successes in this
business are the ones who have been working up to it for a long
time – but I’d recommend this life to anyone.
Roll on the next 1000 issues!

Enough of the introspective already!
What have I got in store for you today?
First, let me tell you about Gift #1.
More Kickstart readers have joined the excellent private label
articles website, PLRpro, than pretty much anything else I’ve
promoted. It was always really good value – giving you 40
articles in each of 11 niches (plus foreign language versions,
graphics, research data, affiliate program suggestions and more)
each and every month.
They limit each ‘group’ within PLRpro to 200 members, so you are
always in competition with the minimum number of other people.
Recently, they have added a whole new dimension to the site by
including access to their ‘Project Green Button’ software, which
actually builds sites for you.
One member has recently topped five figures a month from using
the PGB system alone!
Anyway, as so many Kickstarters are already members of PLRPro
I’ve come up with a gift that is particularly suitable.
I personally belong to PLRpro twice (two different groups) – so
that I get access to double the material. Yes, it is that
valuable to me.
I’m guessing that most Kickstarters who are members will likely
be in one of the two groups I’m in, so what I’ve done is create a
spreadsheet of LSI words (created using my Keyword LSI Spy
software) for each of the 22 niches covered in this month’s
packages.
Those niches are: back pain, arthritis, coffee beans, juvenile
diabetes, hearing aids, teething, anger management, digital
cameras, home schooling, retirement, espresso machines, cat beds,
herbs, indigestion, diamonds, landscaping, protein supplements,
lingerie, mold, spain travel, gardening and plants.
The spreadsheet also shows the minimum, maximum and average
keyword density on the top ten ranked pages for each of those
keywords.
This is particularly useful for existing PLRpro members, but
anyone who wants an insight into niche marketing will find the
data useful.
You can download the spreadsheet here: http://1-in-1000.com

Gift #2 is a simple text file which I’ve created following
several requests from readers. It contains a point-by-point
checklist of things to think about when you are creating a web
page.
I don’t claim that it is exhaustive – and it certainly doesn’t
try to explain website design and SEO concepts. The idea is just
to give you a simple checklist to make sure your sites are
ticking the major boxes.
Again, you can download the checklist at http://1-in-1000.com
#~#~#
I’m really going to have to come up with a great use for that
domain after this giveaway is over!
#~#~#
Gift #3 is both a very useful item that you can immediately use
on your websites, blogs and newsletter AND a demonstration of the
power and use of programs like Glenn Leader’s excellent Artifact
(which is still at the low $30 discount price for another day or
two). http://artifact.webmaster-toolbox.info/martin/
I have written a special article all about the history of
Valentine’s day (coming up very soon – so don’t forget!)
You can read the article – and copy it from my webpage with my
blessings – at http://1-in-1000.com/valentine.php
Now here is the clever bit. Every time you, or anyone else views
that page, the article will be different. It is being ’spun’ on
the fly so that every single person who sees it will see a
substantially different article – it reads exactly the same in
each version (from a sense point of view) but the words and
phrases in it change.
You can use that article without fear of any duplicate content
penalty, and you don’t have to give me link or an acknowledgement
if you don’t want to (of course, if you do want to, I’ll not
complain!)
The only conditions I make are that you cannot sell the article,
or post any version of it on an article directory.
Happy Valentines!

Gift #4 is a copy of my ebook You CAN Write Articles.
It should need no introduction, and I know a lot of Kickstart
readers already have it, but if you don’t yet have a copy and
would like a clear, easy explanation of how you can start writing
articles to help with your online business, then grab it while
you can.
#~#~#
Gifts #5 and #6 are also ebooks of mine that I normally sell.
Kickstart Your Life and Your Success Volumes 1 & 2 were the first
ebooks I wrote for sale. They aren’t as pretty as books I write
nowadays, but the information in them is evergreen.
You are very welcome to download both, with my compliments, from
http://1-in-1000.com

Now there are some products that I sell that I either can’t give
away free (contractually) or that I really don’t want to (at
least I’m honest!).
So I figured 1000 issues, 1000 cents. It seems a nice round
number and 1000 cents is just $10.
So here are four top class products – each of which sell every
day for way more than $10 – on offer for you in this never-to-be
repeated special deal of just $10 each.
The products are:
* Money and Power – an interview with Allen Says (the owner of
the Warrior Forum) and one of the most powerful books on Internet
marketing I’ve ever read.
* The 16 Minute Speed Reading Program – we all have a lot to
read, and this easy to use program trains you to massively
increase your reading speed in just 16 minutes. It really works.
I doubled my own reading speed, with an increased comprehension
the very first time I used it. You can buy this exact product on
ClickBank today for $27, and I’ve seen it on sale for up to $67.
But you can have it for just $10 right now.
* Unlock the Secrets of Private Label eBooks – my own book on how
to make money with private label. It tells you about 11 ways to
profit from PLR ebooks, and now also adds 18 ways to capitalize
on PLR articles. I’ve never sold it this cheaply, and don’t
intend to do so for long!
* Total Time Control in 14 Days. Another of my own writings,
Total Time Control gives you lots of easy, simple strategies each
day that you can pick from. It is a smorgasbord of time
management ideas for you to select from to suit your own
personality. Again, it has never been sold this cheaply and won’t
be again.
All of these gifts and offers are going to be available for just
three days – until Kickstart issue #1001 is published. After
that, the web page will be taken down and the offers will never
be repeated.
So grab them all while you can! You know where:

I’m going to end today by reprinting an article that I wrote
seven years ago, and which I linked to in the very first edition
of Kickstart.
It is called ‘Are You Fine or Fantastic’ and is every bit as
valid today as it was then:
Are You Fine or Fantastic?
It takes a small child to make us see sense sometimes. My 7-year
old daughter loves school and on the days that I collect her, I
always greet her with,
“Hi Charlotte, how are you?”
And nine times out of ten she answers,
“Hi Daddy, I’m brilliant!”
It is impossible not to smile at such an open exhibition of
enthusiasm. Her positivity is infectious.
Yet, like most adults, it took a while to dawn on me that I could
learn something from my own child.
I was thinking about her when I met a business colleague the
other day.
“Hello, Martin,” he said as we automatically shook hands, “how
are you?”
It was on the tip of my tongue to say “I’m fine”, or, “not too
bad” as I would normally respond. But instead, Charlotte’s
smiling face popped into my mind and I came back with,
“I’m brilliant, thank you. How are you?”
A flicker of confusion crossed his face as my unexpected response
sank in. Then a big smile spread across this rather dour
businessman’s face and he said,
“You know, I’m feeling pretty brilliant too!”
We had a great meeting.
Charlotte’s natural enthusiasm taught me a big lesson: that we go
through life saying and hearing conditioned responses that really
mean absolutely nothing. It is only when we break out of the
expected that real communication occurs.
What do ‘fine’, ‘okay’, ‘not too bad’, ‘all right’, ‘pretty good’
and all the other non-responses really mean? Absolutely nothing.
They mean nothing because the question that they answer usually
means less than nothing.
‘How are you’, ‘how’re you doing’, ‘how’s the family’ are
meaningless punctuation. Most often the person asking is not even
looking at you – and rarely are they listening to your equally
meaningless answer.
Yet, by hijacking that automatic question and giving a completely
unexpected – and exciting answer – we can take control of a
conversation. And more, force the other person to think
positively of us.
I could have said ‘marvelous’ or ‘first-class’ or ‘absolutely
splendid’ or any number of positive, energizing statements. But I
liked Charlotte’s choice.
It is certainly true that you never get a second chance to make a
first impression. Let your first impression in any meeting, be
brilliant!
#~#~#
Well, that’s 1000 issues done – how do I feel:
Fantastic!
Have a great day.
Best wishes,
Martin

Hi Martin
Attitude is everything! I really enjoyed reading through your last article about your daughter’s response. Things like that fascinate me.
Sounds like Charlotte is going to be very successful!
