Greetings !

The launch promotion for Dominating Niches is nearing its end. If
you move fast you’ll still be able to get the special
introductory price and my exclusive Kickstart bonus, but only for
another day or so.

Dominating Niches is Chris Freville’s latest, and arguably best,
product that teaches exactly how he has made over a quarter of a
million dollars by dominating niche markets.

No offence to Chris, but he is just a regular guy. He isn’t a
marketing genius or a technical wizard. The system he uses and
teaches works so well because it isn’t complex or hard to do. In
fact, it is easy. And it works.

Newbies or advanced marketers can equally pick up Chris’s methods
and profit from them because he explains them so clearly and has
systemized the approach so methodically.

I highly recommend it.

My special exclusive Kickstart bonus is a detailed video that I’m
making about how you can profit from writing your own newsletter.
It will be partly based on a presentation I’m due to give at a
Frank Garon seminar in a couple of weeks, but will have some
extra special information just for Kickstart readers!

I plan to make the video available for sale when it is done, but
when you buy Dominating Niches through my affiliate link -
http://urlnex.us/dominatingniches – you’ll get it for free.

iPhone = bye bye phone.

My new iPhone has developed a fault. It doesn’t seem to be able
to maintain contact with the network. One minute I’ll have a
5-bar signal strength and then it will start to fade away until I
am lucky to even see one bar.

When it is doing this, calls will drop or reception quality will
break up.

The Apple Store tested the phone yesterday and agree that there
is something odd going on, so they have ordered me in a new phone
to exchange.

Excellent service as ever.

While I was waiting in the Apple Store I played with a Mac Book
and a Mac Book Air. I know that people swear by these things and
get very evangelistic about them, but I honestly couldn’t see
why.

They were okay, and quite pretty, but the keyboard reminded me of
an old Sinclair Spectrum! I didn’t like it at all.

Mac people are very quick to point out that they don’t get
viruses like PCs, don’t suffer crashes like PCs and that unlike
PCs, their machines work perfectly every time.

Maybe some PCs have problems, but generally speaking, mine don’t.
In particular, my laptop has never had a virus, has never
crashed, and has run everything I’ve asked it to without any
bother. And I like the feel of its keyboard.

It also cost less than half of what a Mac would set me back.

I concede that I may be missing the point. To me, a computer is a
tool. Nothing more, nothing less. It isn’t a fashion accessory
and it certainly isn’t an extension of my personality.

But then, the Apple effect has wormed its way into my
consciousness as far as mobile phones are concerned, so maybe
I’ll eventually see the light over laptops too!

How crazy is this…

My daughter’s boyfriend and his mother are buying a brand new
car.

In the current climate, where car manufacturers have fields of
unsold cars and are having to lay off staff because demand is so
weak you’d think that a real live customer with cash to spend
would be treated like a god.

But no.

They met with barely a ripple of interest from any of the
showrooms they approached. No great deals, no extras thrown in,
none of the biting off of hands that you would expect.

Just a plain take it or leave it attitude. And not from one
dealer, but from pretty much all of them. Even booking test
drives seemed like too much bother.

When they finally decided to buy and paid for their new car, they
were told that there would be between an eight and a sixteen week
wait for delivery!

How can it possibly take so long to get a car out of a field?
After all, they don’t have that much else to do at the moment.

As taxpayers we are funding the future survival of the motor
industry, but if they have such a poor attitude, I wonder why we
are bothering.

Speaking of the motor trade, Delia and I wondered if we could get
a bargain on a new car so we went to a local dealership for
Vauxhall. It is a big showroom that is well known in our areas
and the forecourt is covered in big red flags and banners that
loudly proclaim ‘SALE’.

We wandered around – unnoticed by the salesmen who were more
interested in chatting to each other – and looked for the sale
prices. But there were none to be seen. The window stickers were
the regular prices.

Eventually we called a surly salesman over and asked him where
the sale cars were.

“What sale cars?” was his reply.

“The cars in your sale.”

“We don’t have a sale.”

I pointed to the flags and banners. “That sale”.

“Oh,” he said, “That doesn’t mean we have a SALE on … just that
we have cars FOR sale.”

Needless to say, they lost any chance of making a sale to us.

Keyword Research Pro has proven very popular with Kickstart
readers, for very good reason. Keyword research is the lifeblood
of effective Internet marketing and KRPro does its job very well
indeed.

This morning I got an email from Fabian Lim telling me that an
update to the program has been issued. fixing a few bugs,
bringing it in line with MSN’s new allegiance with Bing and
sorting out a few minor issues.

It is good to see that the program is being supported so
effectively.

If you have bought KPRpro – keep an eye out for your update
notification and make sure you are up-to-date.

And if you didn’t get Keyword Research Pro, but would like to own
this top-class research tool, I’ve noticed that there is
currently a discount offer on the sales page, so now might be a
good time to invest.

Here is a very useful thread on the Warrior Forum about how one
lady made over $1000 in 48 hours by stealing ideas (not content -
this is perfectly ethical).

Will you help me out?

I’m really pushing to increase the subscription base of Kickstart
over the next few months. ListCrew.net will help, for sure, and
I’m also using another co-registration service from Robert Puddy.
In addition to that I have all kinds of traffic and viral
marketing plans to spread the word.

But here’s the thing I need your help with…

The sales page is a bit boring.

What it needs is you to liven it up.

It really needs more testimonials – written ones, audio ones,
even video ones if you feel you can talk to camera for a few
seconds! iPhone or Flip videos would be great!

I won’t tell you what to say – please put it in your own words,
and in your own way.

If you love Kickstart please share your enjoyment of it so we can
get more people reading.

Thank you very much.

Today’s Power Thought
_________________________________________________________________

What is it that you can use, but you can’t own? You can spend but
you can’t keep? And once you’ve lost it, you can never get it
back?

An old riddle, but every bit as true as the day it was first
penned:

Time.

Time is the most precious thing that passes through our lives,
and yet we waste far more of it that we truly make use of.

I’m not talking about time management – although it certainly
helps to learn tricks for maximizing how you can use each minute
to its fullest.

I am talking about paying attention.

One of my biggest regrets is that when Hannah and Lauren were
toddlers, I was so busy working all hours that I missed out on
their growing up. Whole family holidays are now lost to me
because my attention was on the work I was worrying about and not
on the moment in hand.

Now my memories of their childhoods are marred by huge gaps and
I’m determined to pay more attention to Charlotte.

They say that when you have one foot in the past and one foot in
the future, the present is likely to kick you where it hurts.

Both the past and the future have their places. One is for memory
and learning, the other is for dreams and plans.

But it is only in the present – the right now – that the three
‘A’s’ of success should live:

Attention, Action and Achievement.
