Greetings !
Delia and I went off for a nice walk in the country this morning
and I’ve returned raring to go. I suppose that means I have about
an hour in which to write Kickstart before the inevitable fatigue
sets in and I have to take my afternoon nap!
Weirdly, the GPS on my iPhone went haywire and told me I’d walked
18 kilometres. The reality was nearer to 5, but as far as my
walking chart is concerned it certainly looks better the iPhone
way!

My success with the beta test of www.listcrew.net continues. Thus
far I have gained 102 subscribers, with 70 having double
opted-in.
Note: Martin, YOU are one of the 70, so you know just how effective the ListCrew system is from personal experience!
When the system goes live on Thursday 16th July – just two days
away – the number of people showing the subscription forms will
rocket and I am confident that new subscriber numbers will
explode.
The way ListCrew works is that each time you show the popup form
(handled automatically by a single line of code) you earn
credits. For each credit you have in your account, your
newsletter will be displayed in forms on other people’s websites.
So the more pages on your site you put it on, the more credits
you earn and the faster your list will grow.
When you sign up at http://www.listcrew.net you will get a
joining bonus of 250 credits – but I’m told by Troy McDonald, the
owner and creator of ListCrew, that if you sign up through my
link you’ll get boosted to a 2000 credit bonus.
If you have a newsletter or mailing list of any kind (in the
Internet marketing niche) then ListCrew is an absolute
no-brainer. We all need a constant flow of new subscribers and
this way is dead easy and free – so who wouldn’t want to get
involved!
Visit http://www.listcrew.net and sign up for the announcement
list today – and you’ll be in on the ground floor for the launch
on Thursday.
And of course – don’t forget to promote it too – the more people
you bring in, the more credits you’ll earn and the bigger your
list will grow.

I’m working hard on writing my presentation for Frank Garon’s
seminar. It is all about how to build, maintain, and nurture your
mailing list and how to make top money from your newsletter.
When I’ve finished the presentation I’ll be recording my own
video based on the content. That video will be the bonus I’ve
promised to buyers of Chris Freville’s Dominating Niches (via my
link). Although the launch offer is over now, you can still get
Dominating Niches at http://urlnex.us/dominatingniches – and I
will give my bonus to everyone who buys there this week.
Whether you are coming to the seminar at the weekend, or are
waiting for the bonus video – or are possibly interested in the
video when I launch it as a stand-alone product – I need your
help.
I know what I want to say, but I can’t know – yet – what you want
to hear.
To help me make my presentation and the video as comprehensive,
helpful and useful as possible, please email me with any
questions you may have on the subjects of list building, ezine
writing, affiliate marketing or anything you think is related.
If it fits into the flow of what I’m working on, I’ll do my very
best to answer.
Thanks.

It is a very sad day today as the bodies of eight British
servicemen who have been killed in Afghanistan are flown home.
One of them – Rifleman Daniel Simpson, a 20-year old father of an
8-month old son – is an old school friend of Hannah’s boyfriend.
So for once, this remote war, thousands of miles away in an
utterly alien country, has touched us close to home.
The fallen in this war are all quite rightly hailed as heroes.
What a pity it is that the people sending them there without
adequate equipment, manpower or vital intelligence are such
cowards.
My family and I send our thoughts and sympathies to the bereaved
families and friends.

ordinary men like you and me are forced by circumstances to

Today’s Power Thought
_________________________________________________________________
A lot has been written and taught over the years about
efficiency.
Now, I’m not going to say that all that stuff is wrong – doing
things right is important – but I am going to say that this
‘efficiency is king’ mantra sometimes misses the point.
You can be super-efficient, get everything done to perfection in
a wonderfully timely manner, and still fail to achieve anything
much.
The Internet is a great case in point. How many people spend
every hour that they can spare, and many that they can’t,
desperately following every piece of advice that they receive to
the letter. And yet, they are still lucky to cover their costs,
let alone see the fantastic rewards that were promised.
They are wonderfully efficient at doing everything that is asked
of them, but there is something missing.
That missing ingredient is that they are efficient without being
effective.
Effectiveness is rarely taught with the same fervor as
efficiency, but it always HAS to come first.
Effectiveness is about doing the right thing.
And unless you are doing the right thing, all the efficiency in
the world is never going to get you any closer to your goals.
But what ARE the right things? We know if we are being efficient,
but how do we know if we are being effective?
The only true way that I know of is to ask yourself the honest
question – ‘Does this really MATTER to me?’
If the answer is no or maybe, the task isn’t truly effective.
Re-examine it. Refine it. Review it. Re-write it until you can
honestly say that yes, this now matters to me.
And when it truly matters – to YOU – when you know that it is an
efficient use of your time, then, and only then, should you
strive to be as efficient in its execution as you possible can
be.

Fascinating Facts

When Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men on the
moon, we all marvelled at the photos. But did you know that of
all those iconic images of space-suited men, there is only one
picture of Neil Armstrong? The rest are all of Aldrin.
Apparently Armstrong pulled rank and took charge of the camera -
forgetting that as a result he wouldn’t be in the pictures!
