Google-1st Review Update: FAQ
Yesterday’s review, in which I wrote about Michael
Green’s new Google-1st system that makes dominating the first
page of Google easy, has generated a massive amount of emails.
I’ve answered everybody individually, but as the questions were
pretty much the same from everyone, I’m sending out this quick
FAQ.
If you’d like to refer to yesterday’s review, it is here:

First of all though, I’d like to thank everyone who has had so
many positive comments and everyone who has bought so far. I know
you won’t regret your investment.
Now the most-often asked questions:
“What kind of keywords does it work for?”
Google-1st isn’t designed to work with the top-level keywords
like ‘acne’ or ‘dating’. Let’s be clear about that. Those ultra
high search volume words are beyond anybodies ability to rank for
in the short term.
What Google-1st does do is guide you towards keyword selection
that is achievable. Now that doesn’t mean it only works for the
low hanging fruit long-tail words. Far from it. It will work for
relatively high traffic keywords and phrases as well. The system
lets you discover which ones are worth bothering with and which
are not.
“How many page one rankings have you personally achieved with
this system?”
None! I only learned about the system on Thursday evening and so
haven’t had any time to put it into action. yet. I will though -
just you try to stop me!
“Is it based on getting links from authority sites?”
I can’t, for obvious reasons, divulge exactly what it does and
doesn’t do, but I can say that it isn’t based on getting links
from other people’s sites. All the links you will get will be
from your own web properties that Google-1st will guide you in
setting up.
In effect, you will be creating a web of your own authority sites
which rank really well, and in turn, your money site will be
catapulted to the top of the rankings.
“Is Michael Green trustworthy – will I get the product when it
launches?”
Oh yes.
Michael Green has a very good reputation online and off and has
never let anyone down to my knowledge.
His very idiosyncratic method of pre-launching his products is
nothing to be suspicious of – it is just the method he has hit on
that works best for him. He’s been launching products this way
for years and I’ve never yet known it to cause any problems.
You get a discount and he gets a hoard of happy users of launch
day.
“How fast do you think Google will cotton on to this and stop it
working?”
Who can predict what Google will or won’t like in the future, but
I can tell you categorically that everything that Google-1st
recommends is 100% white hat and totally in line with what the
search engines seem to want.
You won’t be guided to do anything that Google will object to,
and so the chances of the system ‘breaking’ down the line is
slim.
“How much time and work is involved?”
Michael says that he estimates that each keyword will take about
3 hours work for a complete beginner to the Google-1st process. I
reckon that sounds about right. There is a learning curve, but
once you’ve climbed that you should be able to set up a new
keyword much faster.
Once you’ve put in the work, your page one rankings on the search
engines tend to happen fairly quickly. Some will appear after a
few minutes, some after a few days. One or two will arrive weeks
later – but that all adds to the natural way that the results are
achieved.
I’m particularly attracted to this system precisely because there
is work involved – for two reasons:
1. Push button systems tend to entail ongoing costs for the user
(subscription fees, for example) and can turn out to be much more
costly than you expected. Google-1st is a one-time up-front cost.
There is nothing else to pay for.
2. The fact that there IS a bit of work involved (nothing hard -
just a little time-consuming) will weed out the people who are
just looking for a get-rich-quick scheme. Google-1st is for
serious business people who understand the effort=reward
equation.
So yes, there is work to do. Easy, simple work, but you do have
to put in the effort to gain the rewards.
“Is the upsell worth buying?”
I’ll put my hands up to this – I don’t know anything at all about
the upsell. I know it is there – and that it is entirely optional
- but as to whether it is worth your while buying I can’t advise.
Michael didn’t talk about it when I spoke with him and I haven’t
had a chance to ask him for more details yet.
What I can tell you is that 37% of everyone who has bought
Google-1st though my link so far have taken up the offer – so it
is clearly an attractive deal.
“How does Google-1st compare with competitive and often cheaper,
products that are available?”
This is also hard to answer because I haven’t got much experience
of other products in this area. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn
that there are other products that cover similar strategies to
Michael Green’s, but I haven’t come across anything at all that
teaches such a systemized, methodical, step-by-step approach.
In addition, the way that all the elements are linked together is
something I haven’t seen before.
Ultimately your success in anything is determined by what you
know and how you are taught to apply what you know. Michael
Green’s Google-1st provides both the knowledge, and the benefit
of a painstaking teacher who doesn’t leave you wondering what he
meant or how to achieve the page one rankings you need.
As always with anything I recommend in Kickstart, I’m very happy
to answer any questions you may have to the best of my abilities.
Best wishes,
Martin
